The Talk 2

no bags please

Our Manifesto:
travel, but do it right.
 don't use plastic bags and
tell others about it.

What are we trying to do?

Plastic bags are a problem. And people are doing something about it. In fact, in many countries legislation has been passed to limit single-use plastic. Yay! Change can happen.

But these regulations typically apply to large retailers. We still have small-time sellers, street vendors and businesses who hand out bags. You will encounter this when time you travel.

So what can you do? Simply Say "No Bags Please". That's it.

You can also:

  • Carry your reusable bag
  • Have container and straw
  • Speak to the locals and tell them you won't need plastic bags
  • Water bottle

These actions will limit the impact of your travel.

How will we do it?

Every day thousands of travelers prepare for their next adventure. Some will fly (please try not to) and many others will use other forms of transport. And they do this by looking online.

Our campaign will identify these individuals during the planning stage and provide them with custom messages to say "No Bags Please" .

For example,

  • Lukas from Gdansk, Poland is planning a trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia and it would be cool if he knew how to say "No Bags Please" in Khmer.
  • Mirzah from Bangalore wants to visit Salento, Colombia and she should be able to say "Sin Bolsa Por Favor".
  • Anwar and mentari are driving from Jakarta to Bali and must keep in mind the importance of saying  "Tidak Ada Aas Tolong".

Saying "No Bags Please" helps travelers to be mindful of their role in protecting the environment. And they become educators, helping others to recognize the need to change retail behaviors.

What can you do?
