The world's second most bio-diverse country has mountains, beaches and valleys. More than 2.4 million tourists visited in 2019. Most went to Cartagena, Medellin and the coffee region.

Since June 2022 the government prohibits the production and distribution of single-use plastics. In 2 years the use of many plastic items must be phased out.
